"TAOMApp" Privacy Policy

provided in compliance with Art. 13 of the European General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR)

This Privacy Policy is provided only and exclusively to users of the "TAOMApp" and not for any websites or platforms accessed by users to install the app.

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is Marzoli Machines Textile S.r.L., with registered office in Palazzolo sull'Oglio (BS), Via Sant'Alberto, no. 10 (postcode 25036) - privacy@marzoli.it.

2. Personal data collected

The "TAOMApp" collects user's personal data (e.g. email address, etc.) required for the purposes of using the app.
In addition, subject to express consent from the user, the personal data collected by "TAOMApp" may be processed by the Controller for marketing purposes and promotional activities of the Controller and/or other group companies.

3. Mandatory or optional nature of data provision and consequences of any refusal

The "TAOMApp" expressly indicates which of the user's data must mandatorily be provided and which are optional. If the mandatory data are not provided, user will be unable to register and to use the specific functions of TAOMApp.
If the data indicated as optional are not provided, this will not prevent user from using the specific functions of the app itself.
The provision of personal data for marketing purposes and promotional activities of the Controller and/or the other group companies is optional; any failure to provide such data will prevent the Controller from using the personal data for the specified purposes.

4. Data processing methods

The personal data are processed electronically; while using the "TAOMApp", the personal data are redirected through secure connections to the respective cloud.
"TAOMApp" does not geolocate the device on which it is installed and does not interact with other functions of the device itself or with its contents and/or installed and/or integrated applications unless expressly authorised by user (e.g. request for consent for access to use the camera to take a photograph of the product chosen by user to be analysed by the app itself).

5. Purpose of data processing

"TAOMApp" is used to calculate a dirt index for cotton bales entering the spinning process, through photographic detection of the cotton by user and calculation of algorithms on the base of the images collected.

6. Scope of data knowledge

The data collected via the "TAOMApp" will be processed only by personnel authorised by the Controller and/or by any persons designated as "Processors" and/or by subjects authorised in relation to the purposes indicated therein; in any case, the data will be processed in respect of the legal provisions in force.

7. Data storage location

The data provided via the "TAOMApp" will be filed in a foreign cloud located within the EU.

8. Storage period

In compliance with theprinciples of lawfulness, purpose limitation and data minimisation and in accordance with Art. 5 of the GDPR, the personal data storage period is 10 years with effect from the termination, for any reason, of the respective relationship with the Controller.

9. Rights of the data subject: Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 of the GDPR

In relation to the data processed as indicated in this Privacy Policy, the data subject has the following rights which may be exercised at any time:

• Access (Art. 15);
• Rectification (Art. 16);
• Erasure (Art. 17);
• Restriction (Art. 18);
• Notification in the case of rectification or erasure of the personal data or restriction of processing (Art. 19);
• Portability, meaning the right to obtain the data from the Controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format in order to send them to another Controller without impediment (Art. 20);
• Objection to personal data processing (Art. 21);
• Withdrawal of consent to personal data processing, without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing based upon consent acquired before the withdrawal (Art. 7, par. 3);
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Supervisory Authority (Art. 51).

The aforementioned rights may be exercised by written communication to be sent to privacy@marzoli.it or by registered letter with advice of receipt to the address: Marzoli Machines Textile S.r.L., Palazzolo sull'Oglio (BS), Via Sant'Alberto, no. 10 (postcode 25036), for the attention of the acting Legal Representative.
